Collaborators
Invite teammates as editors or viewers on OpenV2 projects.
Collaborators let others access your project in the workbench with controlled permissions.
Roles
| Role | Permissions |
|---|---|
| Editor | Chat, edit code, use workbench tools |
| Viewer | Read-only — view preview and code, no edits |
Viewers see viewer mode in chat and workbench — AI and edit actions are disabled.
Inviting
From the header Collaborators menu:
- Enter collaborator email or copy an invite link
- Choose role (editor / viewer)
- Send invite
Accepting invites
Invitees open:
After accepting, the project appears in their dashboard (with appropriate access).
Comments
Use the header Comments menu for async discussion on the project — separate from real-time editing.
Use cases
- Founder + developer — founder as viewer, dev as editor
- Client review — viewer access to preview progress
- Pair building — two editors (coordinate to avoid conflicting edits)
