Project hub
Navigate your OpenV2 dashboard — projects, discover, templates, and starting new builds.
The dashboard (/dashboard) is your home base after signing in. From here you manage projects, explore community apps, and start new builds.
Layout
| Area | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Chat input | Describe a new app to start building instantly |
| Project grid | Open, star, or delete saved projects |
| Tabs | Switch between Discover, Projects, Starred, and Templates |
| Account menu | Settings, billing, sign out |
On mobile, the dashboard uses a compact shell with the same features accessible from the account panel.
Tabs explained
Projects
All projects you own. Each card shows:
- App name and icon
- Last edited time
- File count
- Star toggle for quick access in Starred
Click a project to open the workbench at /chat/:id.
Starred
Filtered view of projects you marked with a star — useful when you work on many apps.
Discover
A feed of public projects from other OpenV2 users. You can:
- Preview deployed apps
- Remix a public project to fork it into your account
See Discover & remix.
Templates
Starter scaffolds (e.g. the default Expo skillapp template) to begin with a proven structure instead of a blank slate.
See Templates.
Starting a new project
- Type your idea in the dashboard chat input
- Optionally pick a design reference before sending
- OpenV2 creates a project and opens the workbench
You can also pass a template via the Templates tab.
Onboarding survey
First-time users may see a short onboarding survey (?new=1). Your answers help OpenV2 tailor the experience. The survey is optional and stored locally once completed.
